Bluegrass is a staple of Virginian culture, sprouting from the NoVA region into the national spotlight in the years following WWII. It’s one of the reasons we love Northern Virginia and has distinguished parts of Virginia as musical hot spots. See what all the fuss is about by attending Bluegrass Jam at the Old Furniture Factory this Friday. A popular venue in Loudoun County for over six years, the Old Furniture Factory hosts the fun-for-all-ages event monthly, encouraging visitors to participate with their own instruments or simply sit back and listen to the rich mix of bluegrass, folk and Celtic music. Have a bite of barbecue or have a drink while you’re at it. Entrance is free but donations are greatly appreciated. Head over to the Old Furniture Factory and reap the pleasures of authentically Virginian music.
